The wedding day is a moment full of love, promises and meaningful details. A dress, a bouquet, the rings – every element contributes to a day you will never forget. For me, wedding jewelry has always had something special. It is more than an accessory; it captures emotions and is cherished as a tangible reminder of a day full of love.
My own special wedding jewelry memory came about when my only son got married. I had the honor of making my future daughter-in-law’s wedding jewelry. Her earrings were silver hearts – a subtle, symbolic way to capture love in a piece of jewelry. But I also wanted to give her something that would honor the traditional Something Blue . So I made a silver cuff bracelet with Aquamarine, a gemstone that symbolizes peace, loyalty, and a bright future.
That experience made me even more aware of the power of wedding jewelry. They are a timeless keepsake, a piece of the wedding day that is cherished for a lifetime. It got me thinking: why is there so little variety in wedding jewelry? You often see the standard combinations of pearls and Swarovski stones, but I believe that jewelry can be much more personal. Gemstones carry an energy and emotion that can perfectly match a bride. Perhaps a bride is drawn to Moonstone for its soft glow and spiritual meaning, or she wants to wear Rose Quartz as a symbol of love.
In addition, I think it is important that wedding jewelry is not just worn for one day. How beautiful is it if you can wear the earrings you wore on your wedding day later, on a special occasion or just on an ordinary day, and immediately think back to that one moment? That is why I focus on designs that are timeless and do not disappear into a drawer after the wedding day.
With my bridal jewelry line I want to give brides the opportunity to wear something unique and personal – a piece of jewelry that tells their story and is made with love and craftsmanship.
