Mijn sieradenatelier: sieraden bekijken, passen en samen kiezen

My jewelry studio: view, try on, and choose jewelry together

Only when you wear a piece of jewelry do you truly realize what it does for you. Does the length of the necklace suit you? Is a ring refined enough or should it be more striking? Which gemstone color looks good with your skin, and do you feel more comfortable with silver, gold, or a combination of both?

Discover what truly suits you

In the studio, you can see different shapes, sizes, and materials side by side. Sometimes, a piece of jewelry turns out to be more subtle in reality than someone expected based on a photo. Or someone discovers that a design not initially their first choice surprisingly suits them beautifully.

I enjoy helping you figure out what suits you. Not with the idea that there is one right choice, but by together looking at proportions, colors, wearing comfort, and personal style. Why do you prefer wearing gold or silver? Do you want a piece of jewelry to stand out, or are you looking for something you can wear almost every day? Existing jewelry can also play a role: after all, a new purchase must fit with what you already love to wear.

Having custom jewelry made

Do you see a design that appeals to you, but would you prefer a different gemstone, size, or execution? Of course, we can discuss the possibilities for a custom piece of jewelry. By examining materials and proportions side by side, it often quickly becomes clear which combination works best. The starting point remains my own design style and the materials I work with.

Coming together or alone

A visit is often an opportunity for friends, partners, or family members to share a moment together. Looking at and trying on jewelry, discussing what looks good or not, and in the meantime talking about taste and style: I absolutely enjoy the conviviality that arises from this. At the same time, I also give visitors some space when they want to discuss something together. A piece of jewelry is, after all, a personal choice, which I like to let someone make thoughtfully.

If you prefer to come alone, you will receive my full attention, and I can help you calmly weigh different options. There is no rush, and a decision does not have to be made immediately. The studio visit is primarily about looking, trying on, and discovering.

See my work up close

Photos in a webshop show a lot, but not everything. In the studio, you can view my work up close and assess the quality for yourself. Does a piece of jewelry feel sturdy? How is it finished? How are the different parts connected, and how does it hang when you wear it?

You also regularly see jewelry that is not yet in my webshop. New designs often emerge from my hands faster than I can photograph, describe, and post them online. A visit therefore sometimes offers a glimpse of new work. If you have seen something beautiful but do not want or cannot buy it at that moment, you can still order the jewelry later in the webshop. And if it is a unique piece, we can discuss whether I can reserve it for you for an agreed period.

Make it a visit to Enkhuizen

The surroundings also make a studio visit special. My house is located in a characteristic spot in Enkhuizen, in an area with an authentic Dutch atmosphere. Those who do not yet know Enkhuizen well can therefore combine the appointment with a visit to this beautiful old city.

Stroll past the historic buildings and harbors, visit the Zuiderzee Museum or plan your visit on a day when there is a nice market, exhibition, or other event. This way, trying on jewelry becomes part of a complete day out.

Would you like to see my jewelry in real life? Then schedule an appointment via the online calendar. If you have already seen certain pieces of jewelry on my website that you would like to try on, please let me know. I will gladly ensure that they are ready for you during your visit.
